Photo Restoration

Our photographs are some of our most precious possessions.  They are the storehouse of our memories and legacies, and a valuable connection to our family, friends, and history.  Even when they are tattered and yellowed, faded, stained or torn, we don't throw them out because they can still help us to remember and learn something about the past.

Fight the Ravages of Time

At Allart, we understand how important your old photographs are, and we can help you to restore, repair, and preserve your most prized images for decades to come.  Our skilled restorers can:

  • Restore faded colors
  • Remove yellowing
  • Repair cracks and tears
  • Clean-up stains and water damage
  • Enlarge small prints
  • Remove unwanted image elements

Archival-Quality Materials

Your restored photos will be an important record for future generations, so all of your prints will be created using archival-quality materials.  Properly framed, or stored in an album, these prints will last for many, many decades without any appreciable fading.

  • High-resolutions scans on
    CD provide an archival
    record.
  • 100% cotton rag, acid-free papers, free from optical brightening agents, will not
    yellow or turn brittle with
    age.
  • Pigment-based inks will not
    fade when properly
    protected.

We Do Our Own Restorations

We take the safety of your original photographs very seriously, and we want to assure you that they will be absolutely safe while they are with us.

Unlike other framers who might send their photo restoration work out to a third party, we do our own.  This allows us to guarantee the highest quality and control, while providing  excellent value for our customers.
